A note from our founder

Hi, my name is  Kathy Dent and I’m so glad you’re here.

Still Rising Women was born out of a deep love for women and a long-standing desire to serve, encourage, and walk alongside others through every season of life. For over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of ministering to women through daily devotions, encouragement, and faith-based reflections shared on social media. What began as simple daily devotion writing grew into a meaningful space where women could feel seen, supported, and strengthened.

     My heart for women’s ministry has been shaped through both life experience and faith. In 2012, when my husband served as an elder , I walked alongside him as an elder’s wife, learning firsthand the importance of prayer, compassion, and community. Ministry was never just something I did .  It  was something I lived.

I’ve always felt a strong calling to work with women, to support them, uplift them, and remind them that no matter what they’re facing, they are never alone. That calling led me, in 2025, to step out in faith and establish Still Rising Women  Ministry as a women’s support outreach group.

     Today, Still Rising Women focuses on community outreach, prayer, and supporting women in need. We serve through quarterly outreach efforts, donations, encouragement, and connection always grounded in prayer and love. Everything we do begins with faith and ends with community.
